ประวัติความเป็นมา

Graduate School was established in 1979 under the name of Srinakharinwirot University Mahasarakham Campus. In 8th December 1994 when the university was seperated from Srinakharinwirot University to be Mahasarakham University,Graduate School was changed to be “Graduation Management Section” under the supervision of Academic department, Education Service Division. In 1997, the Graduation Management Section was separated from Academic department and created new office named “Office of Graduate School” under the supervision of Vice President of graduate studies division. And finally in 17th July 2003, The University Council has approved to upgrade the Office of Graduate Studies to become “Faculty of Graduate Studies” under the supervision of Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies” until the present. The Faculty of Graduate Studies has independent management outside the bureaucracy. The faculty has a mission of graduate studies management and development, which relate to the cooperation and support all activities regarding graduate programs arrangement, education standard control, course disciplines and co-course disciplines enhancement. This is to ensure high quality and efficiency of graduate studies for Mahasarakham University. In 30th August 2013, the University Council has approved and published a new regulation regarding graduate studies management and renamed the Faculty of Graduate Studies to be “Graduate School”
