FOR BACHELOR’S DEGREE PROGRAM

1. Completed Application Form

2. Evidence of Application Fee Payment:

- - Applicants are required to pay an Application Fee of 900 baht through the application system, excluding bank fees.

3. A Passport-sized Photograph

4. Official Transcript:

- - Applicants must submit an official (original) high school/diploma transcript indicating degree received and date of conferral.

5. Proof of English Proficiency as Specified in General Eligibility

6. Letters of Recommendation : [PDF],[MS WORD]

- - Applicants must submit TWO Letters of Recommendation from persons familiar with the applicant’s academic work.

7. Statement of Purpose:

- - Applicants must submit a Statement of Purpose that gives a clear idea of the applicant’s study goals and explain how the degree fits into the applicant’s career plans.

8. Proof of Financial Support (if any):

- - Applicants must submit evidence of sufficient financial resources in the form of an official bank statement and/or a letter of financial support. Students receiving a scholarship should provide a letter from the supporting organization showing details of support provided. Self-funding students must provide proof of their ability to support themselves financially for the duration of their study program.

9. Proof of Health Insurance (if any):

- - In order to ensure students have access to health care at all times, Mahasarakham University requires all enrolled and exchange students to carry health insurance unless a student can provide evidence of comparable insurance coverage. Students unable to provide such evidence are required to purchase a local health insurance upon your arrival from a Mahasarakham University based insurance company.

FOR MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAM

Please note that applicants must sign all photocopies before uploading them to the Admission system.

1. Evidence of Application Fee Payment:

- - Applicants residing within Thailand are required to pay an Application Fee of 900 baht at the time of application submission.

2. A Passport-sized Photograph

3. A Photocopy or Scanned Image of Passport

4. Official Transcript(s):

- - Applicants must submit official university/college transcripts indicating degree received and date of conferral.

5. Proof of Graduation:

- - Applicants must submit a proof of graduation such as an official university/college graduation certificate/diploma, confirmation of degree awarded document, certified copies of degree etc.

6. Proof of English Proficiency as specified in General Eligibility

7. Letters of Recommendation : [PDF],[MS WORD]

- - Applicants must submit TWO Letters of Recommendation from persons familiar with the applicant’s academic work (one Letters of Recommendation from their bachelor’s degree advisor). The letters should also include information regarding the applicant’s capacity for research and writing of a research report.

8. A Brief Outline of Research Proposal

- - Applicants must submit a brief outline of Research Proposal that gives a clear idea of the applicant’s proposed research work.

9. Proof of Financial Support:

- - Applicants must submit evidence of sufficient financial resources in the form of an official bank statement and/or a letter of financial support. Students receiving a scholarship should provide a letter from the supporting organization showing details of support provided. Self-funding students must provide proof of their ability to support themselves financially for the duration of their study program.

10. Research Paper(s), if required as specified in General Eligibility

- - Applicants must submit their research paper(s), if required. If the papers are in a language other than English, a detailed summary in English should be included. The summary should include the main argument and conclusion, research methods and analytical techniques deployed and descriptions of each section.
